Design Story

The layout is strictly centred. A spired manor sits at the optical middle, its lit windows forming a warm vertical rhythm against a cool blue segmented sky. Behind it, a full amber moon acts as the backlight and the piece's brightest tonal value, with two bats reading as clean silhouette shapes against it. Bare branches and red-orange maple leaves frame the upper arc, echoing the border's crimson panels and gold fleur-de-lis accents at top and bottom. Iron gate work anchors the lower third, flanked by two lantern posts and two jack-o'-lanterns placed for symmetry. The palette stays disciplined: amber, ember red, deep blue, antique gold. Stained-glass-looking segmentation gives the whole disc its visual grain.

Window & Light Styling

As a round window hanging, the circular border carries the eye inward and the hanging chain accent keeps the disc facing the light. Placed at a window or doorway, the warm centre reads brightest against ambient daylight or dusk, and the dark border holds the composition together from across a room.
