Design Story

The artwork reads like a piece of ceremonial silverwork translated into graphics. A red and gold shield with the cannon motif sits at the visual centre, framed by scrollwork, filigree and ornamental beading rendered in warm metallic tones. Below the focal panel a ribbon carries the words VICTORIA CONCORDIA CRESCIT, and further down, a football medallion and the date 1886 anchor the base. Red and cream stripes fill the lower third, giving the lower half rhythm without competing with the crest. Nothing moves here. The design is deliberately still, built on symmetry, repetition and the calm confidence of heraldry.
