Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and strictly centered. A brushed gold arch frames a deep navy field, and inside it sits a circular medallion holding the interlocked NY monogram in pale silver-white. That monogram is the visual anchor: everything else, the fine constellation lines, the small rosettes, the beaded borders, exists to lead the eye toward it. Below, a banner reads NEW YORK YANKEES, and further down the ornament resolves into an architectural bay of arched windows with a plaque marked THE BRONX. A single baseball motif closes the base. The hierarchy is unmistakable: emblem, name, place, object. Gold on navy carries the contrast, while the dark ground behaves as negative space, letting the metallic linework breathe instead of crowding it.
