Design Story

The composition is strictly hierarchical. Top band: an arched banner reading ORLANDO CITY, framed in gilded scrollwork and jewel-set beading. Centre: the crowned lion shield, the undisputed focal panel, its mane rendered in faceted stone-like detail against deep royal purple. Below, a second register carries a golden city skyline with fountain and palms, then Orlando, 2010 and The Lions on ribboned banners, flanked by small footballs and lion masks. Purple carries the field, gold carries the structure, and the pale faceted accents supply the sparkle that keeps a dark palette from going flat. It reads as heraldry, not as a print.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the wraparound works in tiers, so the crest stays front-facing while the ornamental borders resolve around the curve. The handle sits clean and unadorned to the side, letting the decorated face stay the visual anchor. Vertical proportion suits the layered banners, and the graphic scale is generous enough to register from across a desk or a tailgate.
