A composition built on stillness. Deep navy holds the surface, and every silver-toned element is placed to be read slowly, from the crest at the top to the plaque at the base.
Design Story
The wraparound design is organized as a vertical stack of framed panels. At the top, an engraved-style banner reads UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA. Beneath it sits the focal anchor: the interlocked NC monogram in pale carolina blue, ringed by a raised circular border and flanked by angular facets that push light outward. A ribbon panel carries NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS, and below that a basketball hoop and net render in fine linear detail \Uffffffff the lightest, most delicate mark on an otherwise heavy surface. Small plaques reading EST. 1789 and LIMITED EDITION close the column. The hierarchy is disciplined: emblem first, wordmark second, ornament last.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler silhouette, this vertical arrangement reads naturally. The eye travels top to bottom the way the object is held. The focal panel sits at chest height in the hand, while the handle side is left largely open, giving the graphic room to breathe rather than crowding the curve.
Size & Capacity
Available capacity: 40 oz.
Restrained, symmetrical, and quietly formal \Uffffffff a collegiate emblem treated as an object worth studying.
