Design Story

The composition is built like a medallion. A gold block M sits dead centre inside a ringed panel, framed by laurel sprays and a circle of readable type reading Championship and Collection. Above it, MICHIGAN WOLVERINES stacks in two weights, silver over gold, so the eye lands top-down before settling on the emblem. Below, GO BLUE and a smaller crest close the vertical rhythm. Deep navy carries the field, warm metallic tones handle the detailing, and small faceted highlights punctuate the borders without crowding them. It reads ornamental but disciplined, symmetry doing the heavy lifting.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette, that centred medallion becomes a natural focal panel, sitting at eye level while the ornamental banding wraps and continues around the form. The handle frames the left edge without competing, and the vertical proportion lets the type stack breathe. Carry presence is high, styling effort is low.
